Biography
A reporter and editor for the Daily News who went on to work for World Book and write a column for Chicago's Near North News. He often spent his time on Rush Street interviewing subjects for his column and, after his death, the Louis Mariano Memorial Library at Ogden Elementary and Mariano Park on Rush and State were named in his honor.
