Scullin, Michael, 1937- : Michael Scullin American Indian Rights collection, 1970-1980
- Collection of Michael Scullin, retired professor at Minnesota State University, Mankato, containing mainly materials relating to the contemporary Indian rights movement. There are photocopied newspaper clippings from the Minneapolis Tribune and The Free Press (Mankato), pertaining to AIM and the Wounded Knee occupation; audio tapes (with digital copies) of an Indian Education Conference, and the American Indian Movement on Urban Indians; recorded music from the Rosebud Reservation, ca. 1975, and other Sioux songs; 35mm slides depicting the Mandan and Hidatsa, mainly by 19th century artists Catlin and Bodmer; 24 issues of the Indian newspaper The Native People; and miscellaneous publications and programs.
