Correspondence, documents, genealogies, business, and personal items related to Harvey family ancestors, including Jabez K. Botsford, early Chicago resident and founder of Northwestern University, and the Fisk family, who owned a millinery company in Chicago for decades. Also of note are items related to Robert Harvey's career as a physician, and a diary from Henry Welge, grandfather of Dorothy Wegener Harvey, documenting an 1846 voyage from Germany to New Orleans.
