Scope and Content of the Collection
Collection contains Chicago Sun-Times newspapers and clippings from 1963 to 1998. Papers cover the assassinations of President Kennedy and Martin Luther King, the Vietnam War, the Watergate scandal and impeachment of President Nixon, and the first moon landing. Collection also contains headlines regarding changes at the Sun-Times, specifically the last Sun-Times afternoon edition, Rupert Murdoch's sale of the paper to Robert Page, and the paper's 50th anniversary.
