Series 2.1: Baker, E.L. - Out Letters, 1857-1864
Scope and Contents note
E.L. Baker was an early president of the B&MRR and a member of the Forbes group, which controlled policy for all roads within the CB&Q system. The series consists of eight letterpress books containing correspondence to A.T. Hall, J.F. Joy, J.C. Green, J.N.A. Griswold, J.M. Forbes, John Van Nortwick, L.A. Von Hoffmann, and others. Some letters were written by J.N. Denison; the series is continued in Denison, J.N. (3 D4.1).
