Series 3 B1: Baldwin, W. W., 1879-1911
Scope and Contents note
William Wright Baldwin joined the legal department of the CB&Q as land commissioner in the Iowa land department in 1879. He was also president of the St. Louis, Keokuk & Northwestern Railway, as well as other railroads. During his tenure with the CB&Q, he was a stockholder on the board of numerous subsidiary lines and corporations of the company. In 1880 he was made land commissioner in Nebraska, then assistant to the president, and finally was elected vice-president of CB&Q in 1890.
