Berry, O.F., 1898
Scope and Contents note
Letters to general solicitor C.M. Dawes from Chicago and other Illinois public officials, including aldermen, police officers, city employees, and newspaper owners, requesting passes. Most request passes as favors, occasionally there is a request on behalf of a "hard-luck" case. A map of the 1894 World's Columbian Exhibition was placed in oversize box +1. Originally included 12 broadsides from the Burlington Voluntary Relief Department, which were moved to CB&Q 32.8, Circulars-Oversize.
