From the Sub-Series:

18 letterpress copybooks, and one folder of loose letters written by Goddard as an assistant in the law department, and after May 1887, as assistant to first vice president Henry B. Stone. Mostly concerning pass requests, right of way titles, bonds, mortgages, abstracts, insurance, settlements of injury claims, political activities, leased and owned lines, the Wapello Coal Company, and various other business with occasional letters regarding policy. Volume 10 is missing.
