Correspondence pertaining to the Missouri Lines which were comprised of the H&StJ, StLK&NW, KCStJ&CB, and CB&CK and were run jointly by the CB&Q as lessee, and owned by the CB&Q after 1900. Letters are primarily from W. C. Brown, general manager of the Missouri lines, and cover topics including crop and weather conditions; condition of cars; deaths on tracks; personnel issues, and competition over freight rates.
