Scope and Contents note
G. W. Holdredge was general manager of CB&Q lines west of the Missouri River at this time. W. W. Baldwin was land commissioner for the B&MRR Nebraska. Holdredge letters concern the Deadwood Central, land in Denver, relations with other roads, construction, financial statements, the Union Stock Yards, and crop conditions. Baldwin correspondence concerns primarily legal aspects of land sales and acquisitions, rates, and construction costs.
