Scope and Contents note
During these years Potter was 3rd vice-president and then 1st vice-president of the CB&Q. Correspondence covers all aspects of railroad operations and management. Notable topics include: Colorado roads and pools, and newspaper coverage of rate issues. Potter is also quite open with his opinions of upper level employees such as Baldwin, Carter, Ripley, Stone, and whether they should get raises and promotions.
