Jan. -Dec. 1881
Scope and Contents note
E. E. Pratt served concurrently as assistant treasurer of the CB&Q, treasurer and president of the Hannibal, St. Joseph & Council Bluffs, and treasurer of the Burlington & Missouri River Road in Nebraska. His correspondence is quite routine, containing primarily stock notifications, vouchers, and acknowledgements of payment. It was decided to de-accession much of his correspondence, especially later volumes which contained almost all forms. Volume 3 was kept as it includes 1881 correspondence pertaining to the River Roads financial controversy, and a few other volumes were kept as samples.
