G. W. Rhodes was superintendent of motive power for the CB&Q. Letters are primarily to and from H. B. Stone concerning all manner of mechanical issues, including condition of cars, freight, engines, switching and signaling. Some letters are accompanied by blueprint drawings of cars and engines. This series is an addition to the original donation.
