Scope and Contents note

During the years 1892-1899 A. G. Stanwood worked as the assistant treasurer for CB&Q, taking over after the departure of E. E. Pratt. He had been auditor in Boston before this. Series contains letterpress books of outgoing correspondence including letters to W. W. Baldwin on general financial matters and letters to Peasley regarding wording of promotional copy for circulars. Due to the routine nature of this correspondence it was decided to de-accession the majority of the volumes and keep a sample.
