Subgroup 59: Creston Branch, 1871-1919
Scope and Contents note
This company was incorporated in 1871 by the B&MRR, Iowa to build a branch from Creston, Iowa, to the southern boundary of Iowa near Hopkins, Missouri, and then to St. Joseph, Missouri. The line operated under lease to B&MRR, Iowa upon date of completion in 1872.
Record group contains corporate records, stock ledgers, stock lists and transfers, and a construction ledger.
