Includes bills for commissions regarding purchase of lands, 1868; Bills for sundry items, 1871-1874 (including bills for stationery, printed circulars and fliers, and replacement maps and books for those burnt in the 1871 Chicago Fire); maps and plats; memoranda, tax documents, and a printed account of Scott's examination of lands in Texas (1883) and Washington State (1884) for Perkins and Forbes. The printed account was formerly its own series: CB&Q 7.7. Maps and plats show lands for sale in Nebraska (Kearney, Adams, Clay, Franklin, Webster, and Nuckolls counties); Iowa towns (Hastings, Emerson, Milton, Prescott and Creston), and miscellaneous other maps.
