Series 71 B1: Burlington Land Association, 1857-1881
Scope and Contents note
This company was a private organization buying and selling eastern Iowa lands and town lots for C. E. Perkins and others. Series contains letters written to Perkins and Colonel H. B. Scott, who acted as land agent and was involved with several rail road concerns in Iowa. Also includes a geological survey and coal reports, notebooks containing financial figures, statements, and township plat maps.
