Materials related to the B&MRR-Iowa Land Department. Includes correspondence of Land Commissioners and other department officials, land examiners' reports and descriptive lists of lands, plats and maps, and financial materials. Also included are comprehensive records of the purchasing process, including applications, sales and payment records, and hundreds of contracts and deeds, including cancelled contracts and delinquents.
