Forms of applications in 85 volumes and loose materials. Earlier numbers, 1870-1872, are called Pre-emption certificates or circulars; some from 1877-1879, are called Applications to buy the North Platte lands. Applications are from Plattsmouth, Apr.-Oct. 1870, and after that from Lincoln. There are duplicate pre-emption certificates, nos. 1-3766, in the loose material. Volumes begin with Vol. #49. There is some overlapping of dates in the volumes.
