Robert Harris was general superintendent of CB&Q from 1865-1876, and then president until 1878. Letters are primarily to director J.N.A. Griswold, Chairman of the Board during this time, concerning River Roads, earnings, the strike of 1877, employee benefit plans, and other business matters.
