 File — Box: + 11, Folder: 50

Scope and Contents note

From the Series:

Most posters are advertising half rate fares for special occasions, excursions, fairs, etc. One 1892 poster invites passengers to Chicago to see the World's Columbian Exposition fairgrounds under construction. Some posters were folded and pasted into scrapbooks. Thirteen photo-placards are mounted on board and were probably used in an exhibit. Other cards displayed the numbers of Burlington employees in military service during the two World Wars.
