Scope and Contents note

Volumes of technical drawings for CB&Q and other roads, some drawings for lettering on cars, and scattered rolled and flat blueprints and gradient maps of various sections of lines, most of which are in Missouri, Illinois, or Iowa. Many blueprints were assigned job numbers (see rolls 1-28), and sequential number sequences were kept all together. For rolled and flat blueprints with no job numbers or scattered job numbers, blueprints were sorted alphabetically by state and county (see rolls 29-32 and flat file folders).

The Chicago, Burlington & Quincy Railroad Company Records are open for research in the Special Collections Reading Room; 1 box at a time (Priority III).

Organized by size and type of material: Bound technical drawings, unbound technical drawings, rolled blueprints, rolled gradient maps, then flat blueprints.
