Scope and Contents note
Correspondence, primarily to daughter Marjorie S. G. Graff and other family, and many incoming letters from friends. Also a variety of personal materials chronicling her life as a socialite and prominent Chicago benefactor, detailed travel diaries, and scrapbooks documenting her daughter Marjorie’s engagement and wedding to Charles S. Dewey, as well as other Chicago society events. Hopkins had an interest in the amusement and well-being of children, as evidenced by her publication of a nutrition book: Food & Fun for Daughter and Son, and a notebook she kept filled with activities and ideas for her grandchildren.
