Series 8: Photo Albums, Stereo Slides, and Negatives, 1870s-1986
Scope and Contents note
Photograph albums and slides which document travel and home-life, family, parties, and residences. Many albums also contain clippings, guest lists and other mementos. Most albums were created during the 1940s and 1950s. One album contains cabinet photographs of Dewey and Goodman ancestors. 54 boxes of stereo slides consist of travel and family gatherings at High Time Farm. Series also includes two boxes of 35mm negatives.

The Goodman family papers are open for research in the Special Collections Reading Room; 1 box at a time (Priority III).
Arrangement note
Albums are arranged roughly chronologically. Stereo slides in boxes 52-54 are organized chronologically, with titles transcribed from original boxes. Large photograph albums and a wooden box of negatives are housed at the end of the series.
