Includes the following: Documents relating to McRae's early education, her professional training and teaching career; clippings, programs, awards, diplomas and other memorabilia; items concerning McRae's personal life, her sister Elma, and their connections with Chicago's Schurz High School and later schools; articles and brochures relating to other dance schools and dance history, including the Chicago production of "The Nutcracker". Also, many clippings about individual dancers and numerous photographs of McRae, some of her students and many of their performances.
