Scope and Contents note

From the Series:

At the height of MoMing Dance & Arts Center’s success, it functioned as the place in Chicago to view post-modern dance and performances. Thus, a variety of artists and dancers performed at MoMing either as soloists, as part of residency, or even as part of a series or showcase, such as “Dance for a Dollar.” Items found in the performance files range from but are not limited to: box office reports, clippings, contracts, correspondence, fliers, notes, press releases, photographs, programs, and tickets. If the performance occurred in conjunction with a benefit, there may be more information about the event in the development series.

Scope and Contents note From the Series:

See also the Publicity Series, the Photographs Series, and the Audiovisual Series for more information about the performances.
