From the Series:

Artifacts, books, and films belonging to, created by, or about the Wacker and Zimmerman families. Includes a book written by Charles H. Wacker in 1912 for his children remembering their late mother, Ottilie, a 1927 hand illustrated commemorative book to Charles H. Wacker from the Commercial Club of Chicago, and a 1915 edition of Wacker’s Manual of the Plan of Chicago. Consult the Newberry catalog for other editions of Wacker’s Manual. Two 8mm film reels total about twenty-five minutes of footage showing buildings, roads, and parks that developed under the auspices of the Chicago Plan Commission, led by Charles H. Wacker.
