Scope and Contents note

Photographs taken by Sheila Malkind from 1960 – the early 2000s. The photographs primarily relate to culture and life in Chicago, as well as her personal life and travels. Some photographs include Ruth Page, Malkind’s former employer, the Ruth Page School of Dance, and performing artists/events.

The descriptions adhere as much as possible to ones Malkind gave the photographs. Any “my” in a description refers to her. Some folders include related newspaper articles, fliers, and programs.
