Scope and Contents note

This series contains awards Fanny received for her achievements in the literary world, biographical materials, financial documents from her later life, reviews of her autobiography and other press, and various memorabilia. Also included are photocopies of the book inscriptions written to her, and materials regarding her bookstore, including the guest book which contains signatures, inscriptions, and drawings from prominent literary figures of the time. Her personal items also include boxes of note cards that serve as a travel diary, and many items regarding her personal relationship in her later years with an old friend, George Leisure.
