Reporters' copy, notes, and supporting subject materials such as court documents, clippings, and press releases collected by reporters covering the Civil and Cook County Courts. Series also contains some files on suburban crimes and trials. Many of the Civil and County cases, such as the Brown's Chicken Restaurant mass murder and the E2 nightclub stampede, were also prosecuted in the Criminal Courts, resulting in some overlap of materials.
