Indian Running--research, news clippings, 1965-1983

 File — Box: 1, Folder: 21

Scope and Content of the Collection

From the Collection:

Includes correspondence, contracts, news clippings, research, and reviews for Nabokov’s books Indian Running: Native American History and Tradition and Native American Testimony anthologies. Also includes 16 audiocassette tapes of interviews done by Nabokov with indigenous peoples.

Many items in the research chapter notes list a different chapter than the folder in which they are located. Each of the research chapter notes were kept as closely to Nabokov’s original filing as possible, as it is impossible to know if this was an error in Nabokov’s filing or an intentional filing to show where material started versus where it ended in his books.
