From the Series:

Materials from activities of the Society, primarily member and guest papers. Member papers include talks given by members of The Fortnightly of Chicago on a variety of topics at meetings, library teas, and joint events. Includes original manuscripts, typescripts, and reproductions. Guest papers include talks by non-members, along with promotional fliers for lectures, presentations, and talks at venues other than the Fortnightly. Also includes some general correspondence from the early 1940s.

Materials from other activities include tour itineraries and lists of tour participants; menus for lunches, dinners, teas, and other special events; plays and music by members; and information about The Fortnightly of Chicago’s Book Discussion Group and Lending Library maintained by the Library Committee.
