Scope and Contents note
Handwritten and typed geographical index to the postcards produced by Curt Teich & Co. The vast majority of the postcards produced and indexed by Teich depict United States places and subjects, but there are some international cards, especially for Canada, Mexico, Panama. The subject index section is brief and incomplete, but contains useful entries for military topics like Battleships, Sailor Life, and Soldier Life.
Indexes are digitized and available online. In order to request specific images, please note the production number in the column next to the description.

Arrangement note
Organized by type (United States geographic, Subject, International geographic). United States indexes arranged alphabetically by state and then by town or other geographic entity (e.g., Yellowstone National Park), with “general” state entries at the end. Subject index sheets arranged alphabetically. International index sheets arranged alphabetically by continent or global region, and then by country and town. Number in parentheses at end indicate number of pages of information.
