Travel, Peru and Mother Theresa: Martha relates a colorful trip to visit her middle daughter and family who are stationed with the U.S. embassy in Peru. The extreme poverty of the country is counter-balanced by a caring charity run by Mother Theresa and staffed by one of Martha's daughter's childhood friends who has become a nun. a day trip to Machu Pichu aboard unreliable busses and trains up the precarious mountain roads becomes an adventure when on the return trip, they are stranded on the mountain in pitch darkness waiting to be rescued.
