(1) Evenings Teaching English: Thanksgiving, Spanish Style: while a volunteer teacher of English in the 1990s to determined Spanish-speaking immigrants with less than grade school education, and (2) Daytime work: the tale of Congressman Sykes and the National Rural Electric cooperative Association when the author first worked as an economist with the Congressional Research Service of the Library of Congress.
