Includes genealogies and genealogy notes, correspondence, newspaper clippings, and various court and financial documents. There is a family genealogy chart recording the first generation to settle in the United States, Daniel Edwards who came from England or Wales with two brothers and settled in Rhode Island. His five children and their offspring are recorded in this 15-page document prepared around 1927 by descendant J. N. Edwards. There are several handwritten deeds and several indenture documents. There are also notary certificates from the states of Illinois and Iowa and a USA Homestead Certificate by the General Land Office in Aberdeen, South Dakota. Also included are pages from the family Bible noting dates for deaths, births, and marriages in the family record.
