His five children and their offspring are recorded in this 15-page document prepared around 1927 by descendant J. N. Edwards. There are several handwritten deeds and several indenture documents. There are also notary certificates from the states of Illinois and Iowa and a USA Homestead Certificate by the General Land Office in Aberdeen, South Dakota.
