 unspecified — Box: 96, Folder: 1291

Scope and Contents note

From the Sub-Series:

Lawrence B. (Larry) Sizer was an executive in the Newspaper Division of Field Enterprises. Sizer was particularly involved with advertising and public relations, including publicizing the Chicago Sun-Times' move to the new building on Wabash Street He worked closely with publisher Marshall Field IV, often handling correspondence for him. There is much information regarding the general operations of the Chicago Daily News and the Chicago Sun Times throughout the 1950s-1960s, mostly through memo correspondence between Sizer and Marshall Field IV, former Chicago Daily News editor Tom Collins, and former Vice President of Field Enterprises Wilbur C. Munneke.
