The 'Birthday Report' That George Ade Wrote (article), 1943
Scope and Contents note
The bulk of the George Ade Papers is his writings, both manuscript and published. One box consists mainly of copies of his fables, many in draft form showing his corrections. The collection includes newspaper and magazine articles, -- some of which apparently were never published -- speeches, advertising copy, a play, newsletters written while traveling, and other miscellaneous items. Where necessary, some of the original hand-written material has been copied on acid-free paper for use in the reading room.
