Medical Records contains prescriptions and correspondence with doctors, and Sherman Zoning Commission contains correspondence and materials from Cowley's service on the Commission. Belsano and Environs contains information and correspondence regarding Cowley's childhood years and reminiscences. Of particular interest are the postcards and posters (broadsheets) collected by Cowley in Spain during the Civil War (see Oversize).

Original folder titles and comments were kept and placed in the front of the folder, except in cases that lacked an original folder title or comment.
