Series 1: Poems, approximately 1917-1961

 Series

  • Staff Only

Scope and Contents note

Handwritten drafts of poems on a variety of topics, including classical music, nature, and time. There are several dedicated to individuals, including "Ash and Willow" that Dilworth wrote in memory of his brother Homer. Few pieces are dated, but the length of the poems and the variety of paper scraps indicate that he wrote most of his poems in segments over long periods of time.
