Scope and Contents note

Scrapbooks kept by Louise B. Graham, a niece of John Andrew Graham who became close to the Carpenter children. Her scrapbooks are full of letters to and from the Carpenter children, who called her "Granny Lulu," photographs and clippings. Also a scrapbook of condolence letters received by George A. Carpenter upon the death of his brother Benjamin Carpenter; and one scrapbook of Theodore Roosevelt clippings kept by an unknown creator. Maps are primarily of the coal lands of the Cumberland, Maryland area, South Carolina, and West Virginia, and plat maps drawn up of properties owned by John A Graham and his business partners in Cumberland.
