Contains materials related to a return visit by Kimball to County Clare, Ireland, in 1968. Includes correspondence, interviews, research notes, newspaper clippings, travel notes, maps and guides. Some newspapers, articles and pamphlets were sent to Kimball over the years from friends and colleagues in Ireland. Also contains manuscripts for the second edition of his Irish book, including a rough annotated typed copy and an annotated typeset copy.
