Stodelle’s general files include autobiographical items, oral history (audiocassette), clippings and programs relating to performers and organizations, reviews and extensive writings and lectures on dance and dancers – most particularly on Doris Humphrey, José Limón and Charles Weidman. Correspondence is mostly miscellaneous incoming, and includes a series of short notes from Weidman, a copy of a long personal letter from Anne Morrow Lindberg, a few letters from Oregon historian Arthur C. Spencer and several from friend and dance teacher Leslie Main. Also, miscellaneous material on photographer dancer Nina Watt, photographer Barbara Morgan, the Dance Notation Bureau, Dans Kern of Holland, the Doris Humphrey Society and other persons and groups, plus ephemera, notes, and photographs.
