Scope and Contents note
Papers and drafts of speeches concerning Lambert Tree's positions as Minister of Belgium and Minister of Russia, as well as newspaper clippings about his political views, and various awards and certificates. There are also papers concerning Tree's inclusion to the Legion of Honor and his participation in the Chicago branch of the Red Cross, and additional speeches and resolutions. Tree also kept a booklet and newspaper clippings commemorating the LaSalle statue that he donated to the city, as well as a scrapbook full of congratulations and memorabilia connected to his appointment to Belgium.
