Scope and Contents note

General subject file contains articles, booklets, clippings, magazines, publications, newsletters, poems, convention notes and resolutions, fact sheets, brochures, graphs, statements, proposals, and correspondence (1605-1993) pertaining to all aspects of Native American history, and cultural, economic, and political life. Major topics include Indian activism, agriculture, education, food, literature, and women. There are also files on the Indian policies of U.S. presidents and on tourism.
