Prints, with some negatives and transparencies, of artists who appeared at Ravinia, and some images of Ravinia Park and its buildings. The majority of the collection is of performers (guest artists, music directors, dancers, and actors) from approximately the 1950's to the 1980's. Formal portraits are interspersed with candid shots from performances at Ravinia, and some photos are autographed (as indicated). There is also a considerable number of portraits from Ravinia's Opera Era, ca. 1912-1931, and some of these photographs are also autographed. The remaining photographs are of the Park and its facilities, audiences, miscellaneous events, trustees and staff, reproductions of important documents, and other items photographed for the use of Ravinia's PR department.
