Conditions Governing Access
The Ravinia Festival Association records are open for research; they are available five folders at a time in the Special Collections Reading Room (Priority II).
A few files containing personnel information are restricted until 2045; see series descriptions in the finding aid for details.
Arrangement note
The record group is arranged to mirror the arrangement of the collection: Paper documents first (all Public Relations-related); followed by photographs in subseries: Opera Era, Performers, Park/Facilities (the bulk of the collection), Staff/Trustees, and Miscellaneous. At the end of the record group are two photographs, a sketch, and blueprints in ++ oversize folders (two in sizes 24 x 30 inch folders, and two in 3 x 4 feet folders).
