Second Regiment Illinois Volunteer Infantry photographs
Abstract
34 photographs depicting soldiers from the 2nd Illinois Volunteer Infantry during the Spanish-American War. The majority of the photographs were taken in Jacksonville, Florida in 1898 and Havana, Cuba in 1899. Also included are 8 typed pages written by the collection's donor, Craig Pfannkuche, containing information concerning the photographer and the subjects of the photographs; print-outs from the Database of Illinois Spanish-American War Veterans; obituaries; and the History of the 2nd Regiment Infantry - Illinois Volunteers, which includes the Adjutant General's Report.
