Travel journal of Morton S. Wardner, who was traveling throughout Central America in the hopes of establishing a vanilla bean company with others, including his father, Nathan Wardner; his cousin, Horace Wardner; and a Mr. McClure. The journal includes notes pertaining to Honduras and Belize; lists of fruits, plants, and trees native to and/or found in these areas; extensive notes on the vanilla bean; accounts; receipts; and Wardner's daily documentation of his travels (19 November 1888-15 March 1889).
