This series contains files created by Ransom across some fifty years’ correspondence with private press folk. Ransom’s daughter referred to this series and the next as the “Ransom Records of Press Books.” Individual files vary in content, including some or all of the following: prospectuses, announcements, ephemeral publications, and correspondence. Additional notes and press clippings on many presses are found in the parallel notebooks in Series 2.
